The Philadelphia Phillies activated pitcher Brandon Kintzler from the from the 10-day injured list on Thursday after he missed three weeks of action because of a neck strain.

Additionally, the team designated pitcher Neftali Feliz for assignment.

Kintzler, who had a solid 2020 season, was struggling with a 8.50 ERA over 20 relief appearances during his first season in Philadelphia.

The pitcher last appeared in a game on June 6.

The 36-year-old right-hander had a 2.22 ERA with 12 saves over 24 1/3 innings last season in Miami with the Marlins.

As for Feltiz, he struggled since being called up fro Lehigh Valley, posted a 36.00 ERA and a 5.000 WHIP over two games (one inning pitched). At Triple-A he was excellent, with a 1.26 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 23 strikeouts across 14 1/3 innings.

He had not appeared in a Major League game since 2017 with the Royals.

The Phillies will look to get back into the win column when they host the Marlins, Matt Moore will get the start tonight in place of Zack Eflin, who was scratched with an illness.
