It is possible the Bills could leave Buffalo. That is just a true statement but the commissioner says the NFL does not want that and I would bet against it actually happening. Matt Parrino weighs in above and previews the Bills season. As for Roger Goodell, he said the following about the situation:

“You’ve got to think long-term here. This has been going on for decades, and it’s time to get a new stadium done that we can make sure the Bills are here and successful for many, many decades going forward…That’s what this is all about and that’s where we’re focusing.”

We will see what happens but this is not San Diego from a few years ago. The fanbase in Buffalo will not let their beloved Bills leave.

Essential Quality will be the heavy favorite when Post Positions are drawn for Saturday’s Travers Stakes, but he will have his challengers in a probably field of seven. Keepmeinmind second to Essential Quality in the Jim Dandy proved to be a big challenger in the Travers Prep race, and the top two finishers in the Curlin Stakes might both be sitting on big races. Dynamic One for Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher and Miles D for Chad Brown, are both coming off solid workouts and will show up and try to pull the upset. And I would keep a close eye on Midnight Bourbon for trainer Steve Asmussen. Might only be a seven horse field, but you can make a case for someone other than Essential Quality winning the Mid-Summer Derby.
