Arguably the greatest New York Met in history died late Wednesday night. Tom Seaver, the Hall of Fame pitcher passed away at age 75. In March 2019, Seaver's family announced that the pitcher was battling dementia

Other Mets legendary players posted their thoughts on Seaver's passing on social media as well.

Seaver was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992 and his 98.8% appearance on ballots was an all time record until Ken Griffey Jr broke the record decades later.
