"This is the most competent quarterback play the Philadelphia Eagles have had in two years, maybe three," ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark said on NFL Live. When you look at the total control that Jalen Hurts had over this offense, that's the reason he's there."

Sales for Hurts jersey have increased 500% in one day.

“I want to keep giving them a reason to wear it,” Hurts said on Wednesday.

Hurts impressed Eagles fans with his poise under pressure, as he was the top-ranked quarterback under pressure in Week 1 according to PFF.

Hurts jersey isn't the only one flying off the shelf, rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith, who caught a touchdown on his first NFL catch and added six catches for 71 yards in Philadelphia's Week 1 win over the Falcons.

His jersey sales have increased by 166% after his first NFL game.
