The unseasonably warm weather makes it hard to find the Christmas spirit for me this year and Christmas is a week away!  The lights are up and the tree is ready as we approach the day of giving and receiving of gifts.  There are several requests fans may have to increase their favorite teams' chances to win a championship:

-The Phillies could use a few things under their tree but first, can we end the MLB labor stoppage?

-The Sixers need to wrap up a package for Ben Simmons so the team and city can move forward without his cloud hanging over us.

-Santa can’t forget the Flyers and their roller-coaster season that led to the firing of their head coach!

-The Eagles can really make this holiday season special with a win over Washington on Sunday and make a run to the playoffs!

On The Locker Room with Billy Schweim this weekend, we will make our list and check it twice!  We will also open up the phone lines and textboard for our listeners to contribute to our list for Santa to help our Philadelphia sports teams!

On Saturday’s show, former Eagles Linebacker Brad Quast and I will take your phone calls and texts throughout the morning!  The Sportsbook Consigliere Dave Sharapan will check in from Las Vegas with his six-pack of picks for this weekend's big games.  We hope the Eagles, Sixers, Flyers, and Phillies will bring us joy in the upcoming year.

On Sunday's show, Mike Gill from The Sports Bash will be in the studio to spread some holiday cheer.  Mike Carlin will join us as well as we get you ready for the Eagles versus the Washington Football Team.  We will hear from 973ESPN.com Eagles Writer and Fox 29 news sports anchor Scott Grayson checks in with the latest news and notes prior to the game.  The Fantasy Football Guru Brian Hartley will give us his hottest plays for Week 15 in the NFL.

All that and more in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to Noon on 97.3 ESPN radio. Also I want wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!!
