COVID-19 Outbreak Puts Bills – Titans Game In Jeopardy
The NFL season is seeing a pretty big COVID-19 outbreak in Tennessee with the Titans. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Titans have now had 23 positive tests since September 24th. This means the game against the Buffalo Bills scheduled for this Sunday at 1 pm is highly unlikely to be played at that time. So what happens next? Do they play Monday, play Tuesday, or are the Titans forced to forfeit?
ESPN's Diana Russini has been told the NFL could be looking at moving the game to Monday or Tuesday:
As Russini said in her Tweet moving the game to Monday or Tuesday would mean you'd also need to move the Chiefs at Bills game from Thursday to potentially Saturday. There is a growing sentiment across the league that since the Titans have reportedly continued to train together outside the facility, which is against league protocols they should have to forfeit the game. What do you think? Should the game be rescheduled or should the Titans be forced to take the loss, making the Bills 5-0 while only playing four games?
