Philadelphia Sixers center Joel Embiid will not play Wednesday in Game 5 against the Washington Wizards.  Per the team, Embiid's MRI revealed a small meniscus tear in his right knee, and he is being listed as day-to-day.

Expect the team to go with either Dwight Howard or Mike Scott in Embiid's place.

Embiid hit the floor hard near the end of the first quarter, heading to the locker room before being ruled out of the game with right knee soreness. He played 11 minutes in Game 4, leaving with eight points and six rebounds.
