Sixers’ Joel Embiid to Miss Tuesday’s Game vs Nets with Injury
The Philadelphia 76ers announced Monday that center Joel Embiid will miss Tuesday's contest against the Brooklyn Nets with a mild foot sprain and will also not play in the game on Wednesday in Charlotte.
"His status beyond that will be updated later," per a tweet from ESPN's Tim Bontemps.
This means the Sixers will be without James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and now Embiid due to injury.
Embiid is averaging 41.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 3.0 blocks and 1.8 steals over his last four games, picking up the scoring slack with Harden out of the lineup.

Maxey went down on Friday night with a foot injury and will be out the next 3-to-4 weeks. Harden seems to be progressing, but remains out until at least December.
With Maxey and Harden both out, backup guard De’Anthony Melton and Shake Milton stepped up, with 46 combined points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and five steals in the loss to Minnesota.
Tobias Harris hopes to play in the game, he has been dealing with a hip issue. He was on the practice court on Monday.
