As a lifelong Capital Region sports fan who has just so happened to be in radio for most of my professional life the chance to “join the Team” pun intended was the kind of offer I’ve been dreaming of. Growing up a Yankees, Knicks and Raiders fan(a punishment I share with my beautiful daughter Ella) I’ve felt the pain and success that comes with diehard fandom. Luckily for me my friends that love the Giants have adopted me so I have a reason to watch football after the Raiders have been eliminated EARLY every season for the last 10 plus years. I’m excited to talk sports and enjoy multiple happy hours with all the sports fans of the Cap Region…even the Red Sox fans.

When the New York Yankees take the field today in Tampa Bay Florida against the Rays number 99 will not be in the lineup. Aaron Judge missed the Wednesday night game against the Baltimore Orioles due to "General Soreness to his side" and now the often injured outfielder is set to miss his second straight game of the young 2021 season.
Yankees Key Dates And Matchups On The 2021 Schedule
Spring Training is over and the New York Yankees are in the Bronx preparing for their Thursday afternoon season opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. I know we're not 100% back to the way things were pre-pandemic but knowing that we're getting a full season and fans will be in attendance has me feeling almost giddy. For the first time in about a year, I'm actually looking ahead and feeling (mostly) good that these games are going to happen and who knows I might even be at Yankee Stadium for them. Here's a quick list of big matchups and dates for the New York Yankees 2021 season.
Mets and Lindor Two Years And $60 Million Apart
The clock is ticking for the New York Mets and superstar Shortstop Francisco Lindor to get a deal done before the season starts this Thursday. That's the deadline set by Lindor to stop focusing on contracts and start focusing on playing baseball. So here we are on Tuesday morning and both sides seem eager to get a contract signed but still sit a reported two years and $60 million apart.

As if trying to figure out whether or not your favorite NFL franchise is going to make the postseason isn't stressful enough NBC Sports upped the ante by adding Steve Kornacki. Kornacki gained a lot of love for his analysis of the 2020 Presidential Election so NBC decided to bring him in to help decipher the odds for each team to make the playoffs.
Seahawks Legend Says Bills Have No Chance Against Seattle [AUDIO]
The Buffalo Bills host the Seattle Seahawks this weekend and former Seahawks linebacker and childhood Bills fan Lofa Tatupu doesn't think the Bills have any chance. You read that right, no chance. Quick reminder that Lofa is a host of the "Bleav in Seahawks" podcast on the Bleav podcast network but this doesn't sound like bias, this sounds like confidence.

COVID-19 Outbreak Puts Bills – Titans Game In Jeopardy
The NFL season is seeing a pretty big COVID-19 outbreak in Tennessee with the Titans. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Titans have now had 23 positive tests since September 24th. This means the game against the Buffalo Bills scheduled for this Sunday at 1 pm is highly unlikely to be played at that time. So what happens next? Do they play Monday, play Tuesday, or are the Titans forced to forfeit?
Buster Olney Thinks The Yankees Could Be In Trouble [AUDIO]
The New York Yankees are coming off a feel-good win over the Toronto Blue Jays. The young guys stepped up with 21-year-old Deivi Garcia pitching seven innings of two-run ball and 23-year-old Gleyber Torres hitting a home run with four RBIs. So it's easy to forget that makes the Yankees 3 - 7 in their last 10 games. So what's the problem and more importantly how long will it take to fix it? ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney tells us if he believes this terrible patch of games can be fixed fast or mean big problems for the future of the Yankees.
